Uniball

Pigment and gel inks lay down a wetter, darker line than ballpoint and that changes what paper suits them. On light or absorbent stock the line spreads and shows through from behind, while on decent paper it reads considerably sharper. Left-handed writers should allow for drying time or step down a tip size. Fine tips skip on rough surfaces. See rollerball pens, fineliners and notebooks.
