Violet for colour coding and accents
This is the Uni PWE-8K liquid chalk marker in standard violet, colour code 12: one marker with a broad 8mm chisel tip for colour coding and accent lettering on chalkboards, windows and mirrors.
Violet is a working colour rather than a headline colour. Give each person on a family or team planner their own shade, mark the vegetarian dishes on a menu, or underline one section of a noticeboard so it stands apart from the white text around it. As a deeper tone it will not jump off a black board the way white or a fluorescent does, so it is best kept for accents on dark boards or used as a main colour on lighter surfaces such as windows with a bright background.
This is a flat violet, not the metallic M12 version. The 8mm chisel gives a solid band of colour on its face and a thinner line on its edge. Rain will not lift it, by Uni Australia's account, yet a wet cloth does, and porous materials are off the list according to Uni UK.
Find the other colours in liquid chalk markers, broad nibs under chisel tip markers, and more writing surfaces among the glass boards and retail signs.
