Metallic violet for evening menus and event boards
This is a single Uni PWE-8K liquid chalk marker in metallic violet, Uni colour code M12, with an 8mm chisel tip for broad lettering on chalkboards, glass and other non-porous surfaces.
Metallic violet earns its place on boards that get read in low light: a cocktail list behind the bar, a seating plan on an easel at a wedding, the welcome sign outside a function room. On a dark board it carries a sheen that the flat violet marker lacks, and it sits comfortably next to gold and silver when a board needs more polish than the everyday specials list. uni Brands describe the metallic colours in this model as giving a vivid, opaque finish.
The broad chisel is the headline tool of the Uni Chalk family. Drag the flat face for thick title strokes, then tip it onto the edge for thinner lines, swirls and underlines. Uni Australia's page says it survives a shower and lifts off under a damp cloth, while Uni UK draw the line at porous surfaces such as raw timber or unsealed slate.
More colours sit in the liquid chalk markers range, with broad nibs under chisel tip markers, boards to write on in glass boards, and the rest of the cafe and restaurant supplies.
