Metallic Pens
Ordinary ink is transparent and disappears into dark stock. Metallic gel ink carries pigment particles that sit on the surface instead, so silver and gold read clearly on black card, kraft and photographs. The cost is drying time, since a thick opaque line stays wet longer and smears under a hand. Test on the actual card before writing a run of invitations. See gel pens, cardboard and markers.
