Gold For Certificates, Borders And Signatures On Dark Card
Staedtler 8323-11 is the gold colour of the 8323 metallic pen, supplied as a box of 10 identical gold bullet tip markers.
Gold is the colour schools, clubs and offices reach for when a certificate, award card or presentation folder needs a finishing touch. Staedtler name certificates alongside craft, scrapbooking and greeting cards as the uses this pen suits, and a box of ten covers a whole presentation night or a class set for a card-making lesson.
The rounded bullet tip gives a steady line of about 1 to 2mm, in Staedtler's figure, which is fine enough for names and dates and bold enough for a border. Staedtler call the ink opaque, and that holds on pale stock as well as dark, so gold on black, navy or burgundy card stays visible. The pen starts writing without pumping or shaking, and the catalogue adds dried FIMOair modelling clay to the list of surfaces.
A smudge on a glass frame or mirror can, according to Staedtler, be wiped away with a damp cloth.
