A 0.4 mm gel pen that writes a fine line without scratching, in six metallic shades
The Pilot Juice Up is a retractable gel pen with a 0.4 mm Synergy Point tip and ink in six metallic shades, supplied as a wallet of 6.
Fine gel pens often feel scratchy. The Juice Up avoids that with the Synergy Point tip, which pairs the smoothness of a cone tip with the precision of a needle tip, so the 0.4 mm point glides while laying a line of about 0.25 mm. Pilot's gel ink is pigment based, water resistant once dry and holds its colour, which makes it a sound choice for notes and forms that need to last. The metallic inks are opaque and show up on dark paper as well as white.
The barrel is retractable with a push button and a pocket clip, and a rubber grip keeps longer writing comfortable. It is refillable with Pilot Juice Up refills, so the pen outlasts the ink.
