Coloured Sticky Notes
Colour carries meaning only by agreement, so decide what each one signifies and write it somewhere a new starter can read. Keep the palette small enough to remember — four states beat eight. Pale shades photocopy poorly and dark ones fight handwriting, so test before standardising a floor. Adhesive is repositionable regardless of colour.
