The Monkey Writing Book In 18mm Dotted Thirds
Writer Premium EB6518, known on booklists as the Monkey writing book, has 64 pages of 18mm dotted thirds ruling on 70gsm paper, a red margin and a yellow board cover.
Each 18mm writing line is framed by solid rules, with two dashed guides running through the middle. Those guides mark where the body of a letter stops and where tall strokes and tails should reach, giving each part of a letter its own band. The ruling drawing and the round sample on the cover both show the 18mm spacing.
The Note Group list the page at 330 x 240mm, bigger than an A4 exercise book, so there is extra room along each line. Inside the front there is space for a name, subject and class; the back cover prints addition and multiplication grids plus metric and imperial units for quick reference at a desk.
