Rexel Momentum X406 for Secure Shredding at One Desk
The Rexel Momentum X406 is a manual feed cross cut shredder that ACCO Australia publish for one user, taking up to 6 sheets of 80gsm paper per pass into a 15 litre bin.
ACCO Australia publish a P-4 security level for it, a rating on the DIN 66399 scale, with 4x28mm particles that turn one A4 sheet into 400 cross cut pieces. The bin holds up to 125 A4 sheets. The published duty cycle is 3 minutes on, and Rexel's manual says that if it overheats it needs about 60 minutes before it is ready to run again.
ACCO Australia describe it as handling paper, paper clips and staples, so a stapled letter does not need stripping first. Rexel's manual limits staples to 26/6 and 24/6 or smaller, and rules out credit cards, CDs and DVDs altogether. Rexel Europe publish the body at 325 x 343 x 229mm and 3.5kg.
Rexel's manual names oil sheets as the accessory to use, and both packs sit in our shredder oils range. Compare it with the other cross cut paper shredders we list, or browse every model in paper shredders.
