Cross Cut Paper Shredders
Cutting across the sheet as well as along it produces short particles rather than long ribbons, which is both more secure and more compact in the bin. The trade-off is that the cutting head works harder, so staples, folded sheets and over-filled handfuls jam it where a strip cutter would cope. Feed steadily and oil the cutters. See shredders, micro cut models and shredder oil.
