Thirty Six Millimetre Labels Without A Desktop Printer
The Brother PT-P910BT Cube Pro prints the full 36mm TZe width from a phone, on a rechargeable battery, in a unit that fits in one hand.
Until this model, 36mm meant a mains powered desktop printer. The Cube Pro puts the same width into a 138mm cube weighing about 1.17kg with its battery fitted, which changes where wide format labelling can happen. It prints at 360 dpi, twice the resolution of the handheld P-touch range, so a compliance label or a dense barcode holds up at small sizes.
Design happens in the Brother iPrint and Label or Design and Print 2 apps over Bluetooth, or on a Windows or Mac computer over USB Type-C. The automatic cutter does both a full cut and a half cut, so a run of labels stays joined and peels off one at a time.
Replacement cassettes are in the Brother TZe tape range across all seven widths this machine accepts. It does not take HSe heat shrink tube, so conductor sleeving needs a Brother PT-P900W or PT-P950NW. The industrial version of this same chassis is the Brother PT-E920BT.
