Wide Format Labelling With A Network Port
The Brother PT-P950NW is the networked version of Brother's widest P-touch platform, adding wired Ethernet, a barcode scanner port and an optional touch display to a printer that runs every consumable in the range.
Wired networking is what puts this machine on a production line or in a warehouse rather than on a desk. Multiple workstations print to one device without pairing, and the USB host port takes a barcode scanner directly, so an operator can scan a part and print its label without a computer in the loop at all.
It takes 36mm TZe, the complete HSe heat shrink range including the 31mm cassettes, FLe flag labels and STe stencil tape. Printing runs at 360 dpi with a 360 by 720 high resolution mode, four speed and quality modes reaching 80mm per second, and an automatic crack and peel cutter on laminated tape.
Replacement cassettes are in the Brother TZe tape range across all seven widths, and heat shrink tube including the 31mm sizes is in Brother heat shrink tube and speciality media. If you do not need wired networking, the Brother PT-P900W prints identically for less, and the rest of the range is in Brother P-Touch label makers.
