The Brother DK-22210 is a genuine continuous paper label roll, 29mm x 30.48m of black on white direct thermal stock that the printer cuts to the exact length of each label you print.
The roll is 30.48m of 29mm stock, and the printer cuts each label to length, so one roll covers everything from short name tags to long folder runs. Direct thermal printing images the paper with heat, which means no ink, toner or ribbon - the roll is the only consumable there is.
Compatibility is per Brother's own series lists: this roll is listed for the QL-800 and QL-820NWB, and it also appears on Brother's QL-1100 list. The DK codes differ between QL series, so checking the code before ordering is worth the ten seconds it takes.
