Marking thirty books at a sitting is exactly where a separate pad becomes friction, so the pre-inked construction earns its place here more than in most applications. Impressions are sharper too, which matters on a small design. Re-inking extends the same unit rather than replacing it. Colour is fixed at manufacture.
