Twinkle Star For Work That Shines
Shiny 9SHS001-2 prints a red twinkle star: a solid star ringed by short dashes, so it looks like it is sparkling on the page.
The burst of dashes lifts it above an ordinary star, which makes it a natural choice for the best piece in a portfolio, a perfect spelling test or a handwriting page that was clearly done with care. In the early years, a sparkling star is easy for children to read as something special.
This stamp is made by Shiny and supplied by Staedtler in Australia. The ink is already in the die, so it prints without a pad, and Staedtler list Shiny 9SO-62 red as the refill ink.
For a plain solid star in the same red, see 9SHS002-2.
