Writer Premium EB6598 is a 330 x 240mm playbook with 64 pages that combine plain space for pictures with 18mm solid ruled lines.
At 18mm the lines give very young writers plenty of height for each letter, which makes this the book to reach for at the start of school, before a class moves on to the 14mm EB6597 or 10mm EB6555. Children draw first and then write a word or a sentence about the picture, and the large page leaves room for both.
The Note Group show a ruling drawing with plain space next to solid lines, but no photograph of the inside of EB6598, so the exact split across each spread is not something we state. Their listing gives 70gsm paper and a red margin, yet the cover itself prints 100gsm and makes no mention of a margin. Until the two agree we treat the paper weight as unconfirmed. Children climbing ropes decorate the grey-brown board cover as the teacher's reference, and Made in Malaysia appears beside the barcode on the back.
