Writer Premium EB6524, the Hat graph book, runs to 96 pages of 70gsm paper printed with a 10mm grid, bound in a light blue board cover.
This is the longer companion to the 48 page Boat book. Because the square size is identical, a class can move from one to the other without any change in how work is set out; the extra pages simply mean fewer replacement books across the year. Larger squares are well matched to times tables practice, multi digit working, coordinate grids and graphing results from class surveys.
The corner icon of a wide brimmed hat is the teacher's reference that appears on booklists. Newer covers describe the page as 10mm Graph Ruled and older ones as 10mm Grid, but the grid inside is unchanged. On the back sit addition and multiplication charts together with metric and imperial units.
