Heavy Duty Kitchen Scissors With a Nutcracker Grip
Connoisseur 750196 are 210 mm kitchen scissors with stainless steel blades and black handles, and a toothed nutcracker built into the handles, so the one pair snips herbs, trims meat, opens food packets and cracks nuts.
The pack card calls them heavy duty. The large loop handles leave room for the whole hand, which helps when cutting through tougher packaging or poultry skin, and a red pivot screw marks the joint.
To use the nutcracker, set the nut in the ridged gap between the handles and squeeze. It turns the scissors into a small multi-tool for a staff kitchen drawer or a holiday unit.
Weatherdon give the length as 210 mm and the colour as black and red; one of their size drawings shows 300 mm, which conflicts with their own specification and our title, so we follow the 210 mm figure.
