Shiny 9S100 is a non self-inking D.I.Y printing kit with a single size of 4mm rubber type, sold in Australia through Staedtler, for setting your own stamps of up to five lines.
It is the simpler of the two Shiny case kits we carry. All the type is one height, which keeps lines even and makes the letters quick to sort. Letters are lifted from the rubber strips with tweezers and pushed into the grooved face of a holder; the seven holders come in assorted shapes and sizes, so a single line tag and a full address block can both be made from the same box.
The finished stamp is inked on the supplied stamp pad before each impression. When the text is no longer needed, the letters go back into the strips for the next job, which suits offices, schools and small shops whose wording changes often.
If you want a larger heading line as well, the 9S200 kit adds 5mm type and a handle.
