A Dark Metal Fountain Pen For Everyday Writing
Staedtler 474 M09-3 is the triplus premium fountain pen in antique anthracite, a matt dark grey metal pen with a medium stainless steel nib.
Of the four triplus premium colours this is the understated one: no gold or bright red, just a deep matt finish against polished silver. That makes it an easy pen to carry into meetings, to sign contracts with or to give to someone whose taste you are not sure of. It also hides the scuffs of daily use better than the lighter finishes.
The barrel and cap are full metal and follow Staedtler's triangular triplus form, with three softly flattened sides for the fingers. The clip and trim are also full metal, polished to a high silver shine, the Mars head is engraved on the nib and embossed on the cap top, and STAEDTLER lettering runs around the middle ring. One standard blue ink cartridge is supplied.
