Twelve Calligraphy Colours From Bordeaux To Intense Black
Staedtler 375 C12 is the calligraphy set of the Pigment Arts range: twelve 375 pens with a 2.0 mm chisel tip, in the same twelve colours Staedtler sell individually.
Staedtler list the colours as 23 bordeaux, 6 violet, 36 indigo blue, 35 turquoise, 57 olive green, 16 golden ochre, 790 umber, 76 brown, 840 warm grey light, 84 warm grey medium, 90 light black and 99 intense black.
The palette leans towards classic ink colours rather than neon brights. Two blacks cover formal text, the greys handle shadows and secondary lines, the browns and ochre suit vintage and rustic work, and bordeaux, violet, indigo, turquoise and olive give accents for initials, flourishes and borders. For a student learning calligraphy, a wedding stationer or a card maker, that is a practical working set in one box.
Every pen holds Staedtler Multi Ink, which they call water-based and pigmented, lightfast, and permanent and waterproof once dry, with no bleed-through. Our photos show the current Artist Series carton; the older black pigmentArts pen carton held the same set.
