Silver Paint Marker For Dark Plastic, Metal And Slate
Staedtler 349-81 puts the Lumocolor 349 acrylic formula into a silver marker, sold here as a pack of 10, each with a bullet tip rated at roughly 2.4mm.
Silver does two jobs. On the decorative side it gives a cool, bright line on black card, slate coasters, dark timber and tinted glass, and it suits winter and festive themes where gold would feel too warm. On the practical side it is a legible way to mark things that are already black: tool handles, equipment cases, storage tubs, cable ends and dark folders, where a normal permanent marker simply disappears.
The ink is water-based acrylic that Staedtler call permanent and low-odour, with metal, plastic, glass, wood, stone, ceramic, card and paper among the surfaces they list. Their property list for dried marks reads waterproof, smudge-proof, lightfast and weatherproof. A valve system meters the paint to the tip, and the DRY SAFE rating means a marker left uncapped for days should still write.
