Jumbo Triangular HB Pencils for First Letters
Staedtler 119N-HB packs 12 Noris natural jumbo pencils in HB: a wide three-sided barrel in natural wood around a lead of about 4 mm.
HB is the firmer of the two grades Staedtler make in this pencil. The line is a little lighter than 2B and the point keeps its shape longer, so letter formation, number work and handwriting books stay cleaner and smudge less as hands move across the page.
Staedtler say the 119N has high break-resistance for first writing exercises. The triangular jumbo shape gives a broad, flat place for fingertips, and the bare timber finish is printed with STAEDTLER, jumbo and the grade in blue so it is easy to tell apart from the 2B.
Sharpen it in a jumbo hole: Staedtler name the 512 188 tub and the 510 20 metal sharpener. For whole-class supply there is a cup of 72 (119NHBKP72).
