Wide Dotted Thirds With Room For A Full Term
Spirax P117 is an A4 exercise book ruled in 18mm dotted thirds, with 96 pages of 70gsm paper inside a green polypropylene cover, listed here as a box of 10.
Dotted thirds ruling splits every writing line into three bands, so early writers can see where the body of a letter sits and how far tall letters and tails should reach. At 18mm this is the widest of the common dotted thirds sizes, which suits the first years of school while letters are still large. The 96 page count means a class can work through a long unit before anyone needs a fresh book.
ACCO describe the cover as sturdy polypropylene, which stands up to a school bag better than a card cover, and note that the cover colour follows the page count. The front carries Name, Subject and Year lines. The book is staple bound, opens from the side and has no perforations or dividers. ACCO also list a red margin for this code.
