A Compact 64 Page Book On 18mm Dotted Thirds
Spirax 232 is a 225 x 175mm exercise book ruled in 18mm dotted thirds, holding 64 pages of 70gsm paper and sold here in packs of 20.
Dotted thirds split each writing line into three bands, which shows a young writer the height for small letters and how far tall and tail strokes should stretch. At 18mm the bands are generous, which suits children still building pencil control. With 64 pages, this book goes further than the 48 page books in the same small format before it needs replacing.
The cover carries the number 232, the ruling and 70GSM QUALITY PAPER, with a yellow 64 on the page curl and a matching yellow band for name, subject and year. ACCO include it in the Spirax education range but publish no binding or margin details for 51198, so none are claimed here.
