Spirax 227 is a 335 x 240mm project book whose cover reads 8mm ruled 1/3 and blank 2/3, with 24 pages of 90gsm paper and 10 books in this pack.
Once students write at a normal size, dotted thirds get in the way. The 227 swaps them for plain 8mm lines, the same spacing as a standard exercise book, while keeping the large open space its 225 and 226 siblings give over to pictures. That combination suits older primary topic work where a diagram, a labelled map or a pasted photo needs a paragraph of explanation beneath it.
