Rexel Optimum AutoFeed+ 225X Auto Feed Cross Cut Shredder
Rexel's Optimum AutoFeed+ 225X takes a stack of up to 225 sheets of 80gsm paper and shreds it automatically, with a manual slot for up to 10 sheets, on ACCO Australia's published figures.
The cut is P-4 on the DIN 66399 scale, which ACCO Australia list with 4x28mm particles, although Rexel Europe list 4x25mm for their version of the model. Waste drops into a 60 litre bin. ACCO Australia publish a 30 minute run time, 55dBA running noise and 22kg, and Rexel Europe give the body as 415mm wide, 806mm high and 465mm deep.
Loading means opening the lid, filling the chamber and closing it again, after which the machine starts on its own. Staples, paper clips and credit cards are on ACCO Australia's also shreds list, auto jam reverse helps clear paper jams, and Rexel Europe list castors and a pull out bin for moving and emptying it.
Rexel's manual allows only Rexel oil sheets, which are in shredder oils. ACCO Australia rate the 225M at P-5 on the DIN 66399 scale, listed in micro cut paper shredders, and the wider line is in cross cut paper shredders.
