A3 pastel for mounting work that deserves the room
Rainbow Spectrum Board A3 Pastel Assorted is a 220gsm uncoated matte board, 100 sheets to a pack in pastel colours.
An A3 sheet at 297 by 420mm sits behind an A4 piece with a wide border on every side and no trimming, which is the reason to buy the larger size for mounting rather than the same colour in A4. The soft pastel tone keeps the eye on the work instead of the backing behind it.
The uncoated matte face carries no gloss for gallery or classroom lighting to catch, and it takes spray and stick adhesive without the shine a coated board develops around the join. At 220gsm it is a board weight rather than a heavy paper.
The standard mounting stock for folios, exhibitions and assessment displays, and the size art departments reorder most often once a folio deadline is in sight. Also in A4, next to our mounting boards and cartridge papers.
