Protext NB5140 is a 330 x 240mm writing book ruled with 18mm dotted thirds on all 64 pages, with a red margin, a PP cover and ten books to our pack.
Unlike the project book version, this one gives every page over to handwriting lines. Solid rules sit 18mm apart and two dotted guides split each band into three, so children can see where the body of a letter stops and where ascenders and descenders should reach. The generous page is wider and taller than A4, which gives little hands more space to form letters at a comfortable size.
The Note Group list 70gsm paper and a PP cover in mixed colours. The front names the book as teacher's reference 'ant', beside a small ant drawing and an 18mm ruling sample, and also promises an activity page and a 4 year calendar. Addition and multiplication tables plus units of measure fill the back.
