The khaki Protext NB90800 notebook has 32 pages of 12mm double ruling with a dotted guide, on 60gsm paper under a clear PP cover, supplied as a pack of 20.
Protext make their double ruled with guide notebooks in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm, and khaki marks the 12mm book, the largest of the five. Big line spacing leaves room for a child whose letters are still large, and schools that step students down through the rulings usually start here. Because the colour is fixed to the ruling, a teacher can see at a glance that everyone has the right book.
The page layout pairs two solid lines for the letter body, with a dotted line higher up for ascenders. The Note Group give the size as 175 x 245mm and show it in landscape. Current covers carry a Clear PP Cover badge beside the harbour drawing, and the national anthem is printed on the back.
