Printed QLD Ruling Year 2 on the front, Protext NB5076 is a 48 page A4 exercise book with a red margin and a polypropylene cover, supplied here in packs of 20.
Queensland booklists usually name a ruling by year level, and this book carries the Year 2 wording on its cover. Next to that wording is a small circular ruling sample marked 18mm, and The Note Group's drawing of Queensland Year 2 Ruling uses the same 18mm figure. That makes it straightforward to line up the book with the list before term starts.
Every copy shows a penguin with the caption teacher's reference 'penguin'.
