This Protext book (code NB5033) gives students 128 A4 pages ruled at 8mm with a red margin, bound in a polypropylene cover and sold here ten to a pack.
Once written work runs to several pages a lesson, a slim book is used up within weeks. With 128 pages this one carries a subject much further before a replacement is needed, so fewer part-used books pile up at the end of term. Paper weight is listed by The Note Group at 70gsm on a 297 x 210mm sheet.
A plastic cover sits in place of card, and the front has lines for name, subject and class. In the corner is a small owl drawing captioned teacher's reference 'owl', the name used for this code, which lets a teacher confirm the right book when a booklist asks for it. Turn it over for addition and multiplication tables plus metric and imperial units of measure. Colours are mixed, so expect a variety across the pack.
