Big Pages For Cutting, Pasting And Painting
Protext NB5060 is the Mega size of the Animal Magic scrap book: 64 pages of 100gsm paper at 330 x 240mm, bound under a polypropylene cover, sold ten to a pack.
Scrap books in a classroom collect glue, poster paint, magazine cut-outs and worksheets folded in at the last minute, so the page size and paper weight matter more than in a writing book. The Mega format leaves space for a full worksheet with room around it, and The Note Group list the paper at 100gsm, which the cover calls premium quality.
The front is printed Animal Magic, with a pig, tiger, lion, zebra, hippo, elephant, panda and cow drawn among black stars, and a This Book Belongs To line for a name. The Note Group describe the cover as polypropylene with an Animal Magic insert. Colours are mixed within each pack, so a class set comes in several shades rather than one.
