A Blue Fountain Pen for Journals and Graduates
Parker 2182009 is the Ingenuity fountain pen in blue lacquer with gold trim and a fine nib, a coloured fountain pen for a graduate, a student moving on to postgraduate study, or anyone who keeps a handwritten journal.
The photos show a deep, glossy royal-type blue on the cap and barrel, with a gold arrow clip, a gold cap band engraved PARKER and a fluted gold section around a gold-coloured nib. Blue with gold is a little less formal than black and gold, which makes it a pen people tend to use rather than leave in a drawer.
The fine grade suits compact handwriting in a diary or notebook. Parker supply it in a dark grey presentation box with a band to hold the pen, so it is ready for a graduation ceremony or a farewell.
