Small, Deep And Military Tested: MAX200
The Panaro MAX200 is a compact, deep handle case supplied empty, and despite its small size it comes with published STANAG 4280, DEF STAN 81-41 and MIL-STD-810H test reports.
It measures 223 x 172 x 102 mm outside and 200 x 125 x 90 mm inside, split 21.5 mm in the lid and 68.5 mm in the base, for 2.01 litres. Empty, it weighs 0.56 kg. The holes beside the latches take padlocks or a security seal, and Panaro suggest two padlocks to lock a MAX case properly.
Teslab ran low temperature, dry heat, vibration and impact tests on the MAX200 at NATO level 1, following STANAG 4280 with DEF STAN 81-41, plus dust (IP6X) and immersion (IPX7) checks; a later Teslab report adds MIL-STD-810H vibration and transit drop. The datasheet lists a -51 to 90 °C range, double throw latches, a soft grip handle, full length hinges and nylon pins that resist corrosion.
Empty, it suits a handheld radio, a GPS unit, a compact first aid kit or a field phone with its charger.
Step up to larger Panaro MAX cases when kit grows, or compare defence and field cases, first aid carry cases and other rugged protective cases.
