A Hand-Sized Watertight Box With an Open Interior
The Panaro MAX002V is a black MAX002 case supplied with no foam, giving a clear 212 x 140 x 47 mm space for paperwork-sized small kit, folded maps or a bundle of cables.
It is the next step up from the pocket MAX001 and roughly the footprint of a paperback. Empty, it takes items that do not need padding but do need to stay dry and together: a passport and travel documents, a cable and charger set, a small first aid pack, or a field notebook and pens.
Construction is injection moulded polypropylene, rated IP67 by Panaro, with a valve that vents pressure on its own. The datasheet gives a -10 to 80 °C range and a capacity of 1.39 L. Made in Italy, Panaro state.
Prefer an insert? The MAX002S has cubed foam, the MAX002VGPB egg-crate foam. See more protective cases and the Panaro range.
