Olympic 197750 is the M848 A4 music book with 48 pages, each sheet ruled in 8mm feint lines on one side and music staves on the reverse, packed 20 to a pack.
A music lesson rarely stays on the stave. Students copy terms, write out a rhythm explanation or note what the teacher said about dynamics, then turn over to write the melody. With lined and staved sides back to back, the written notes and the notation for the same piece end up facing each other. Hamelin Brands, owners of the Olympic brand, describe the book as ideal for music notation and writing.
The red cover with its guitar head artwork is easy to pick out of a stack of exercise books, and the panel takes a name, subject, year and school. Schools that previously ordered Tudor code 140909 will find this is its replacement: the brand notes that code was superseded by 197750.
