Olympic 197731 is the G104 A4 grid book, 48 pages ruled in 10mm squares and supplied in a pack of 20.
Ten millimetre squares are effectively centimetre squares, which makes this book handy for measurement lessons as well as sums. Students can count squares to find area and perimeter, draw rectangles to exact sizes and build bar graphs where each box stands for one unit. On an A4 page there is space for a large diagram with its working underneath.
Hamelin Brands, the brand owner, list G104 for graphing and technical drawings, and their illustration shows the grid printed in light blue. Badges on the purple cover show G104 and 48 Pages, and a small ruled box at the top right is there for name, subject, year and school.
Some booklists still carry the old Tudor code 140971, and Hamelin record that code as superseded by Olympic 197731.
