A Plain Blue Knife With An 18mm Snap Off Blade
Marbig 975155 is a large utility knife with an 18mm snap off blade, a black push slider and a blue plastic body.
Every store room, mail room and reception desk ends up needing a knife for the tape on incoming cartons. This is the simple, low cost option in the Marbig cutter line: no wheel, no textured side panels, just a straight blue handle and a wide blade that ACCO list at 18mm for this code.
In ACCO photography the blade runs in a long channel with a textured black slider on top, so you push it forward to set the length of the cutting tip. The blade is scored into segments; when the point dulls, the worn piece is broken away to bring the next sharp section forward. The nose of the body is moulded with a sharp blade warning, and there is a small slot near the tail.
Compare the other cutters and knives, protect the desk with a cutting mat, and reseal boxes with packing tapes. More from Marbig.
