Start each day by updating the felt calendar
The Learning Can Be Fun Felt Learning Board Calendar, supplier code LFLBC, is an interactive felt board that helps children prepare for the day while learning about the calendar, seasons and weather.
Learning Can Be Fun designed the board so a child begins each day by using the felt pieces to update the chart with today's information. The brand suggests talking through each part as it changes, with prompts such as what activities suit today's weather. Felt learning boards are described as lightweight, clean and reusable.
A daily update gives children a small routine to own, and the brand frames the board as a hands-on teaching device. Talking about the weather and season while moving the pieces turns the calendar into a conversation. Learning Can Be Fun says the board can be used over and over again.
Pair it with the Felt Learning Board Alphabet or Numbers from the Learning Can Be Fun range. More ideas for the morning routine sit in classroom charts and posters, educational supplies and teacher resources.
