Link each letter to a picture that starts with it
The Learning Can Be Fun Felt Learning Board Alphabet, supplier code LFLBA, is an interactive felt board that helps children link the first letter of a word to an image starting with that letter.
Learning Can Be Fun shows the alphabet three ways on this board: upper case letters, lower case letters and images beginning with each letter. Children make the link between each letter and its picture on the board. The brand describes felt learning boards as a lightweight, clean, interactive tool that can be used over and over again.
Learning Can Be Fun says this type of play increases a child's alphabet recognition and provides hands-on learning, which the brand sees as groundwork before reading. Each letter appears in upper case and lower case beside its picture, so the same board covers all three ways of showing the alphabet.
The board sits with the Felt Learning Board Numbers and Calendar in the Learning Can Be Fun range. Browse educational supplies, teacher resources and classroom supplies for more early literacy resources.
