The Ideal 1171 is a professional lever trimmer built for accurate, repeatable cuts across oversize sheets up to 710 mm wide.
A manual clamp bar applies variable pressure to hold the stack while the blade comes down, so posters, charts, artwork and large design layouts are cut square rather than dragged out of line. The adjustable backgauge and the precision side lay with its measuring scale make repeat positioning quick, and cutting capacity runs to 40 sheets of 70 gsm paper per stroke on a table measuring 506 by 765 mm.
A cast aluminium blade mounting bracket with double pivot bearings holds the blade true through long runs, while the all-metal body and the stationary transparent safety guard keep the machine stable and shield the blade path in everyday use. Format indications printed on the table run from A6 to A3.
