Two metres of fake grass for a circle that has to sit somewhere
200cm diameter circle. Durable plastic, not fabric. Semi non-slip backing. Bulky item - freight quoted separately.
A circle rug does one job well: it tells a class where to sit without anyone drawing a line on the floor. At two metres across this takes a group rather than a handful.
It is plastic, and we are saying that first because the photographs make it look like turf. It is not soft. It does not feel like carpet. What it does is look like grass, clean easily and survive being walked on - which is exactly right for a nature corner or an indoor outdoor-play area, and wrong for a place where children lie down to read.
The backing is "semi non-slip" - the supplier's own words, not ours. On carpet it will be fine. On polished timber or vinyl, treat it as a rug that can move, and use a proper underlay if children will be running onto it.
Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat. Plastic pile fades and can distort.
Round, so it has no front - useful for a circle where every child faces in.
