AutoMax 350C: PIN-Locked Auto Feed for Small Offices
The AutoMax 350C takes a 350 sheet load behind a lid you can lock with a 4 digit PIN, so a confidential stack can be left shredding without anyone lifting it back out.
That SmartLock system is what separates the 350C from the smaller desk models. Fellowes say it clears a full 350 sheet load in about 8 minutes, and it runs on a 45 minute duty cycle. Each sheet is cut to 4 x 38 mm pieces (security level P-4) that fill a 68 litre pull-out bin in a cabinet on castors. A 12 sheet manual slot handles CDs, credit cards and loose pages.
Fellowes pitch it at small offices of three to five users. Folded, crumpled, stapled and clipped sheets can go in as they are. A touch screen runs it, SilentShred cuts the noise, Auto Reverse clears jams and Sleep Mode shuts it down after two minutes idle. Fellowes cover the machine for 2 years and the cutters for 20.
