The Faber-Castell Wave Double Hole Sharpener with Catch sharpens both standard and jumbo pencils and keeps the shavings contained, ready for pencil cases, desks and classrooms.
One hole takes popular standard pencils and the larger hole takes jumbo pencils, so a single sharpener covers everyday graphite pencils as well as thick learner and colour pencils. The shavings collect in the translucent catch, which can be emptied over a bin to keep desks and classroom floors clean. Faber-Castell designs the Wave as a quality sharpener for simple, clean sharpening of wood-cased pencils.
The Wave comes in green, red, blue or yellow, supplied in assorted colours, which makes it easy to tell sharpeners apart across a classroom. Faber-Castell recommends replacing a sharpener from time to time, as blades blunt with use and a blunt blade leads to more tip breakages.
