A white air dry clay base for painting and colour mixing
CreativeClay White 500g, supplier code EVECCW500, is an air drying modelling clay from Educational Colours with a white base for sculpting, painting and colour mixing.
Educational Colours describes CreativeClay as super soft, lightweight and elastic, easy to mould and shape with no baking required. The white base can be sculpted into sturdy models and then painted with acrylics, watercolours or other mediums. The brand says its formulation also allows easy colour mixing, a hands-on way to learn about colour theory.
A larger 500g pack suits whole class projects or a core role in an art curriculum. Starting from white gives students a clean surface for paint. Mixing colours into the clay itself turns a modelling lesson into a colour theory lesson. Wrap leftovers in plastic to keep them fresh.
Let models dry fully before painting them, and keep leftovers wrapped in plastic. Pair it with paint from the Educational Colours range, more modelling clay, craft paint brushes and the wider educational craft supplies catalogue.
