Craft Paint Brushes
Bristle material is the first fork. Natural hair holds more water and releases it slowly, which is what watercolour washes need; synthetic filament is springier, survives acrylic and stands up to being cleaned by children. Shape then sets the mark: round for line and detail, flat for coverage and edges, filbert for blending. Long handles suit easel work. See paints, watercolour and painting supplies.
