A wide 27mm flat taklon brush for broad areas
Zart Taklon Brush Dynamic Flat Size 12, supplier code BR316, is a student quality taklon flat brush from The Creative School Supply Company with a 27mm wide head, sold singly.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the Dynamic flat as a student quality taklon brush with a short tapered handle, a thick belly and a metal ferrule. Its soft, synthetic bristles suit acrylic, watercolour, gouache and craft paint, and the supplier calls it durable, easy to clean and shape retaining. The size 12 is listed by the supplier at a width of 27mm, one of the widest flats in the range.
A 27mm head moves a lot of paint across a canvas or sheet, which suits skies, backgrounds and large washes. The supplier also says the bristles maintain their shape and are useful for adding controlled detail, so the one wide brush covers both kinds of work.
Mega also lists the Dynamic flat in size 2, size 3, size 4, size 6 and size 8, plus Dynamic round brushes. Browse craft paint brushes, painting supplies, art and craft supplies and the Zart range.
