A plywood board students design as their own skateboard
The Zart Skateboard Deck 80 x 20cm, supplier code WP050, is a flat Serayha plywood board that students design and paint as their own custom skateboard, then hang on a wall.
Zart describes the board as a sturdy surface to paint on. It measures 20cm wide and 80cm long, is 1cm thick and has a flat surface. Zart gives its weight as 750g. The supplier pitches it as a way for students to have their artwork seen in the community, with each finished deck made to hang on a wall.
The long, narrow 80 x 20cm format gives students a different shape to plan a design around than a page or a canvas. Once painted, Zart's intent is for each deck to hang on a wall, so a set of student boards can be shown together where the community will see them.
Once the deck is designed, pick paint and primer from our painting supplies, brushes from craft paint brushes, and more blanks to decorate in wooden craft supplies and the Zart range.
