Round handmade cotton paper for watercolour and ink
Zart Handmade Watercolour Paper Round 31cm, supplier code PA706, is a pack of 10 round sheets of 300gsm handmade paper from 100% recycled cotton, supplied by The Creative School Supply Company.
The Creative School Supply Company lists this variant as 31cm round. The sheets are 100% recycled cotton, unsized, hand pressed and sun dried, so each has a natural irregular texture and a soft deckle edge. The paper is off-white with a rough tooth, and the supplier calls it durable and highly absorbent, which suits watercolour, gouache and ink.
A round format gives a different shape to work within for painting, collage and paper craft. The cotton can also be stitched into for mixed media. When drawing, the supplier recommends larger materials such as pastels, crayons, oil pastels and Slicks, and describes the sheets as thick and sturdy.
The 15cm round and two square sizes are made from the same paper. The supplier notes that markers and fine pencils do not suit the rough absorbent surface. Browse painting supplies, art paper and canvas, drawing supplies and Zart.
